THRIVE TOGETHER

Prioritize wellness in your workplace for a healthier, happier team

Not just a nice to have…

The Bottomline: Mindfulness Matters.

Studies have shown mindfulness at work may lead to higher levels of commitment at work and increased engagement.

Reasons why mindfulness in the workplace is important:

  • Promotes job satisfaction and motivation

  • Reduces work stress

  • Leadership development through enhancement of self-awareness

  • Enhances employee engagement

  • Increased resiliency and ability to cope with change

Why use art to practice mindfulness?

Using art as an anchor to practice mindfulness offers unique benefits

  • Allows you to still "do" something

Many of us are so used to noise and distractions in our lives, that it can feel very uncomfortable to sit in quiet with ourselves. Art-based mindfulness provides an easier entry point into mindfulness by allowing us to actively “do” something while practicing mindfulness.

  • Cultivates creativity

Practicing art-based mindfulness nurtures creativity. Creativity is important in the workplace to help generate new ideas, flexibility, and better problem-solving.

  • Provides a safe container to practice curiosity, non-judgment, compassion

Mindfulness is focusing the attention on the present moment in an attitude of curiosity, non-judgment, and compassion. That’s easier said than done. Many of us are used to self-talk that is overly critical and judgmental. Art-based mindfulness provides a safe setting to practice re-wiring that self-talk.
